Kostantinos Pyrgakis, from EXELISIS
Dr. Konstantinos Pyrgakis is a Chemical Engineer (NTUA) with an M.Sc. in Computational Fluid Dynamics and a PhD in process systems engineering, specializing in industrial symbiosis and optimal biorefinery design. He received an award for his outstanding PhD Thesis in the field of energy (NTUA). With 15 years of working experience in consultancy and academic research, he has participated in 14 EU-funded projects and published 25 scientific articles. As a Project Manager at EXELISIS IKE, his core expertise includes process design, modelling and optimization; water and energy integration; mathematical programming; Life Cycle (LCA) and techno-economic Analysis; and Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis.
Albert Sabadell Rendón, from IDENER
Albert Sabadell Rendón obtained his Ph.D in theoretical and computational chemistry in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Núria López at ICIQ, where he also did a 2 years postdoc in collaboration and funded by TotalEnergies. Albert is specialized in multiscale modeling, particularly in automation, and meso and macro scale simulations. He’s currently a Senior Researcher in IDENER, where he develops different models of classical, photo, and electro chemical reactors.
